Currently I’m playing Facebook’s mafia wars.
I can’t play most flash games because it’s blocked.

Evion is a pretty decent strategy game.

There obviously won’t be any cheats for a game like that.. (a cheat is something that the creators of the game put in the game.. and since the game will be unbalanced if you put cheats for an online game.. they didn’t make any..)
The only thing you can look for are hacks or such.

I need something to pass the time, that isn’t require downloads or playing money. I DON’T need game sites! Even a list of the greatest online games would be much help.

What I like:
Simulation games(Construction and management)
War Games (to some degree)

What I don’t like:
Zombie/"Scary"(Maybe If it is Great like Boxhead)
Shooting games
Nothing for kids
Bad graphics(Nothing really dumb like a 1st grader made it)

Hi does anybody play an online game at www.travian.com? I have a few questions…

First of all, how do you fend off attackers? I mean I just started playing this game for a week, so obviously my village doesn’t have a strong defense, but there’s this guy who keeps on attacking my village and stealing my resources and supplies. Any ideas?

Second, I managed to build a trapper (Gauls) and trap 10 of his troops. But there’s nothing I can do with the captured troops except to release it. I’d like to kill them because I know this guys will attack me again. Can I do that? If I release the prisoners, will they go back to their village and thus able to attack me again, or will they be gone from the game? THanks…

_Defense_
Start off building a good cranny, and not too much storage, so that even when you are attacked, the attacker won’t get much. The less he gets, the less likely he will be to keep sending troops at you, or the fewer there will be.

Next, build up troops that are good at defending against his attackers. Travian troops have separate defense values for infantry and cavalry. Fortunately, you said you are Gaul, and the Gaul phalanx troops are good against both (40 and 50, I believe). Try waiting until right after he attacks, then build the troops with whatever your cranny protected. And keep building troops constantly. If they keep getting killed when you only have a few troops amassed, send those troops out on a raid or reinforcement, and have them return after the incoming attack is over — that way they’ll be out of the city and not get killed, and you can have a larger force next time. Hopefully, he will realize it is costing him too many casualties for the pittance of resources he’s getting. Keep building up defenses (or more crannies) after that.

Join an alliance. Ask nearby members of that alliance for help. They can send defenders to your aid — just be sure your village produces enough crop to support them.

The last-ditch, final spit-in-the-eye-of-the-enemy thing to do is just abandon your village and close your account, and start up a new account and start over. It’s extreme, and a pain in the butt, but it has been done often. Some of these guys are just jerks and won’t give you any peace.

_Trappers_
You can ransom the troops back to him, but I don’t think you can kill them. If he’s an experienced player, he would have freed them by now (sounds like a successful attack [not Raid, but Attack] frees the trapped attackers). Just beware that he might just attack you again, but this time send 10 less useful troops first, to fill the traps, then let them stay while he continues to farm you. Work on that defense first.

I don’t really know about the Trapper situation, since it was only v2 when I played, and I think Trappers are a v3 addition. Check the wiki (when it’s up, which seems to be rare) or search the forums.

_Unsolicited Advice_
DON’T PLAY. The game is totally addictive, and since it is in real time, you’ll find yourself wanting to log on every minute of every day, to build or trade or watch for incoming attacks. It’ll make you neurotic, not to mention paranoid. And if you manage to prosper out to ten villages or more, you’ll need all that time just to keep things running normally. Find a game that doesn’t require 24/7 attention, like Kingdom of Loathing or something.
