best serveris there any medieval games where you can build a village and take care of it and upgrade it kinda like Evony?
i like Evony but there are no villagers to play with, and its soooo slow. ive heard of Travian, WOW, FallenSword, Celtic Village, Virtual Villagers, Runescape, but those didn’t interest me longer than 5 min. lol. I also want it like online to play with others preferably. Preferably free but willing to look into buying also. Thanks!!
Well, I’m not sure what Evony is like having not played it. But the closest I can think of is Age of Empires 2: Age of Kings is medieval and you can upgrade the walls and army but that’s as far as it goes, it’s more about conquering enemy villagers but it’s a great game and you can play it online and it’s pretty cheap now to buy. Why can’t I open Travian while every other sites open?
I use a computer which does not share a network. I don’t use any firewall(including the Windows firewall). I only use AVG free edition, which does not have an in-built firewall either.
I have been playing Travian on my PC for about five months now and I haven’t had a problem. However, in the past few days, I have had problems opening Travian. Initially(abt three or four days ago) the site would open erratically, but it did open most of the time. As time went on, the frequency of the site opening reduced and then I was completely unable to open the site. So I used ultrasurf and was able to open it normally for the last ten or so hours. Now once again I’m unable to open it, with or without ultrasurf. I contacted a friend asking him if he had the problem, but the site worked normally for him.
I don’t have a problem with any other site. The error that the browser throws is as follows:
in Google Chrome:
"Oops! This link appears to be broken."
In Mozilla Firefox:
"Server not found
Firefox can’t find the server at travian.com."
Can anyone tell me what the problem is?
After a few more rummaging around the net, I find that there are a number of sites that dont open. However, some of the ‘bad’ sites open without a hitch… which makes me doubt the chance of firewall blocking on the part of the ISP
I don’t think it’s an ID 10 T. If someone thinks it is ID 10 T, then you better explain it
